Hey all; I need some tips on my bns and my computer. I have one of these cerial cords, that are round at each end. Can this be used to connect the bns and the pc? What sort of things can I do? Thanks for any pointers!
If it's round at each end, there's not a whole lot of good it's going to do you, unless you have a converter for one end to make it a male serial type. :) Will make for some heavy duty tying chord though. If you do get the correct kind of cable to connect it to your computer, the major 2 things you can do with that is using the bns as an external synth, or transfer files to and from your bns using the bns's brousing program (which you can install on your computer) or use the y modem protocols with something like hyper termanal.

If the cable is round at each end then you do ot have the rite one. one is round ane end is kind of a square or something like that and that goes into the computer. you can transfer files as well as use it as a hardware synth for jaws. I think you will need a nine pin serial port if that is not rong someone will currectly tell you.
yes, you need one end that round one (it's called a ps2) the other end should be a male 9 pin serial.
